They seem amazing and definitely something I would read but anybody know other books like this? (Wolf books not werewolves)

Book 6 was great! They managed to get across the ice bridge and to the Distant Blue, leaving behind the ruins of the old world and building a new society in a new place. It's a nice ending to Book 5, where nearly everyone is dead and the world is broken and unrecognizable.

Now in the newer Bears of the Ice books, which are presumably a continuation of this series but from the bears perspectives, basically everything goes back to normal. All those earthquakes that buried the Sacred Volcanoes? Well, a second earthquake came along and just sprouted them back up again. All the ice, snow, and glaciers everywhere? They melted. For some reason, the descendants of the small group of wolves that went over the Ice Bridge in Book 6 all came back (how did they know it was safe? for all they knew, they were about to start another thousand-year cycle like the last time the bridge was crossed). Said group also immediately recreated the packs (why did they do that? there were like 12 or so wolves in the group that crossed over, I don't know why they remade the packs), and they still fear the Sark/her equivalent, and they still shun malcadhs (you'd think the group that crossed would put a stop to that, as 4 or more of them were malcadhs). I realize that they needed the wolves back in the Beyond for the bears to find, but this just feels cheap.

Sorry for the rant, especially since nobody has posted in the book-discussion forum for 5 months. As long as this doesn't get removed, I'm good.

Morag did join the MacNamara because of her age or die from it either. Morag had recognized Faolon's scent on thunderheart when she found her carcass. The blindmess was an effect from the forgetting as in the books terms. She was either 2 or three when she had Faolon and his sisters and he was less than a year old when the books mentions her. So she couldn't have died from old age, but the sickness or forgetting had caused her death first was her eyes than probably her legs and joints than finally her heart but because of the Sark and Gwynneth Faolon was able to see his biological mother before she died.

Heep's just in Faolan's story but he's not in the eigth book of the Owls' series which mentions Coryn's mom wanting to bring back hagsfiends and trick the Macheaths clan into cooperating with her, The tenth book just explains the old history of the Hagsfiends. But Heep himself wasn't polite, and his arguments came from how much he struggled to control his feeling he was Jealous of Faolan finding some friends so quick, he's a little Jealous of the unusual powers given to Faolan, Heep's a pup who complains about having no tail. Harming a few newborn pups that's when 'Heeop's feeling the worst during his puppyhood. Heep hates that Faolan is trusted and supported more than him. Heep he's mainly pouty about what his deformation is, Heep annoys adult leaders not just the rest of the wolf pups

I suspect Myrr, but who do you think?

If he’s indeed a vyrrwolf, then he’s most likely the first Dunleavy MacHeath. According to the Legends Of Ga’hoole, Dunleavy is an evil wolf that tried to kill Hordward “Nacmara” McNacmara. I think they have close personalities. First of all, he’s angry for revenge on Foalan. Well, MacHeath was angry for revenge for Faolan’s incarnation, Fengo. Ding Ding! See the relationship? It’s too good to be true.

My fellow wikians of the Wolves of the Beyond wiki. In this forum we are going to talk about the events, characters and currently other existing articles that relate to the first book of this series. This would have different purposes:

1. To discuss what pages on the wiki need new info according on what we read or reread.

2. A means to keep the wiki active and moving.

3. To have fun!

4. More may be added...

Take your time reading and feel free to discuss your thoughts and questions here. We'll try to keep in on book 1 and we'll cycle through the other books with on other discussions, but this DOESN'T mean we can't also talk about the other books here too.

(This may be subject to revision as needed)
