The following is a list of characters that do not fit the guidelines for receiving their own page, whether it be due to lack of a name, proper history, or other matters. This page lists minor characters from Lone Wolf.
Characters[]
Three pups[]
These are part of Morag's first or second litter, who died in a snowstorm. Their mother tried to save their lives by licking them to keep them warm, but she witnesses their hearts growing dim and finally stopping.
First lieutenant[]
The first lieutenant of the MacDermott clan and the only wolf mentioned to belong to that pack. He marks his territory, and Shibaan can scent it.
Gray outclanner[]
A small, raggedy dark gray male wolf with patchy fur that reveals old scars. The wolf works with Morb to track Faolan and the cougar. When Faolan kills the cat, they approach him, though they aren't working together for the meat. Faolan throws a piece of meat into the air, causing the two outclanners to fight for it. Then, he jumps on the gray wolf's back and snaps it. Morb takes his dead body and consumes it.
She-wolf outclanner[]
A large, skinny she-wolf with vicious fangs who goads a moose in a craw to continue to fight.
Malcadh pup[]
A pup born too late in the summer and had half a paw and breathing problems. They were taken to their tummfraw by Shibaan, a moose path. The pup is saved nursed by Shibaan's spirit and follows her to the Cave of Souls.
Donegal[]
One of Shibaan's mates. He was a random black wolf of the MacDuncan Clan. He suggested to Duncan that Shibaan become an Obea because she couldn't have pups. Donegal then mates another she-wolf and has a litter of five pups.
Gwynneth I[]
A female masked owl and the mate to Gwyndor and mother to Gwynneth, who was named after her. Her daughter recalls that she died before she hatched and was given to Thora Plonk, her "auntie."
Aislinn[]
A female skreeleen from the Pack of the Western Scree of the MacAngus Clan. She had a silver pelt with a darker color underneath. She had a gift of interpreting lightning storms.
History[]
Faolan was an observer when Aislinn howled the story of the rebirth of the first Fengo during a lightning storm. Shortly afterwards, her clan chieftain, Angus MacAngus, arrived in response to the howling, and she left the cave to greet him. After Aislinn discussed the ceilidh fyre with him, the chieftain noticed the scent of grizzly bear and discovered Faolan's splayed paw print, mistaking it to be from a foaming mouth wolf.
