Old Tooth is an old narwhal.
Old Tooth was a very ancient narwal who was friends with Abban and helped Gwynneth save his life. ThroughoutStar Wolf, Old Tooth appears and helps Faolan and his friends travel to the Distant Blue. He also saves them when they are drowning.
Ironically, though he is friends with Abban, he killed his father, Heep, when the ice bridge collapsed by stabbing him through the spine with his tusk.

Old Tooth, like all narwals whales, about fifteen feet average length, with a massive tusk or tooth jutting out of his upper lip. He is, however, quite old, and has many faded scars from skirmishes throughout his long life.
